» Design Team Superstudio 29

Comprised of designers Ira Payer, Andro Giunio, Sanja Kuzmanović, Marina Jukić, Petar Mudnić Cerineo, Ivana Brajdić, and Iva Hrvatin, Superstudio 29 is the name behind some of the freshest and most visible designs on the scene today. The team typically dedicates themselves to non-profit projects in the fields of culture, art, architecture, performing arts and tourism. Many of their projects help to promote other Croatian designers and Croatia itself.

One of Superstudio 29’s most recent projects is the naming and visual identity of Take Me Home, a souvenir and gift shop that sells exclusively Croatian designs. Superstudio 29 is also behind the oversized, tongue-in-cheek Croatia – as it is totes, made from potato bags and emblazoned with messages such as “similar to croissant, different than donut” and “before cuba, after cote d’ivoire” that aim to shine a matter-of-fact light on Croatia, opposing the cliché messages doled out by the Croatian tourist board every year.

Their latest project is Croatia à la Carte, a unique “culinary card game” in which players collect and pair the ingredients of traditional Croatian dishes. Keep up with Superstudio 20 on Facebook.
